The Universe - Sun

The Sun

The sun is not a planet but it is a star with diameter of approximately
864.000 miles (1.390.000 kilometers) and it's the nearest star to our planet and Earth.

It is a huge star compared to the Earth. The sun is very important to our life, animals and trees. Because the sun provides light, heat, and other en
ergy to Earth and it contains vitamin D that all living things need it. The sun is 4.5 billion years old so it means that the sun is very old now.

It is
333.000 times as massive as
Earth. Nowadays, we see that the color of the sun is yellow but the real color of the sun is white. It appears yellow maybe because of atmospheric scattering of blue light. The sun is made up entirely of gas. And it is very hot. At the core, it is 15 millions degrees Celsius or 27 million degrees Fahrenheit.

The sun
vibrates lik
e a bell that is continually struck. In the sun , there is a layer called Corona which is a part of the sun's the atmosphere that temperature is greater than 500.00k. Its temperature reaches ten millions of Kelvins when a flare occurs.

Thanks for reading. And sorry if there is any grammar mistakes.
