The Mars or the Red planet
The Mars or the Red planet is the fourth planet from the Sun . Mars is so bright in the sky because it closer than another planet except Venus. Mars is shine with red color like blood and war.Mars is the seventh largest and 227.940.000 kilometers from the sun .The diameter of Mars is 6.794kilometers .

Mars travels around the sun in oval-shaped pattern . It rotates on an axis of about 24 degrees from the perpendicular position and it rotate every 24 hours and 37 minutes. When it is nearest to Earth -59 million km -Mars can be see a great detail with a small telescope . Mars has an average about -23 C .

The first visit to Mars was in 1965 and Olympus Mons was discovered. It is the largest mountain in the solar system, with a height of 78,000 feet. In 1970s The United States sent a spacecrafts to Mars to take a photographs. The photographs showed that Mars has craters, mountain, and the valley deeper and it longer than the Grand Canyon.

The surface of Mars is covered by orange -red ,dusty soil, which is blow from one spot to another by the wind in the cold thin atmosphere . Million of years ago ,when Mars was a small planet ,water flowed on the surface . Some water still remain in Underground reservoirs and it no liquid water on the surface lot of ice covers the polar caps of mars .

Mars has to moon the Phobos andDeimos.Neither is large enough to become special.Phobos is orbit less than 6000km from the surface of the Mars . Deimos is even smaller than Phobos .Its longest diameter is 15 km and it orbits 23400km from the planet is center and unlike Phobos had a stable orbit . Million of years ago when Mars was a young planet ,some water remain hidden in underground reservoirs and there is no liquid water on the surface,but it have lot of covers the Polar caps.
