Cambodia's Animals

Cambodia is a beauty place and easy to live because in Cambodia have oniy two seasons is rainny and sunny , but in Cambodia no have any snows . Cambodia have a lot of animals and forests but now all of animals and forests are die Ex : Before Cambodia have 77% but now we have only 14% of foreasts so , that why the forest is gone and the animals no have any food , place to live , and it make all of animals die one by one .Because all of animals can not live without forest.Do all of you like the animals ? Do you know what kinds of animals that people like very much in Cambodia?

For me i like animals very much because i think it so cute , nice , beauty and good for me .I think you will like the ainmals ,too.But all of you will scare about the dangerous animals like Tiger , Lion , Snake , Wolf ,..........

Do you know some of trees are gone by the War for 20 years it so long that why in that time some of animals are going to another county and some of it is die by the people killed .

Animals that people in Cambodia like very much is fish . Because in Cambodia have a lot of fish that have from Mekong river . Mekong river is a very good river for Cambodia . If Cambodia no have Mekong river we will no have any fish to eat .

The haunted house

Hello Everybody!!!!!!! My name is CHEATA. I'm 15 years old. I'm in Shack group.

Now I would like to tell u about a house in the beach. I have known it since I was child. From the out side it seems like any other wooden , village house but it is haunted. Now the house is empty, but a few years ago a poor family used to live there. At first they like lived there, but after a few month they disappeared. They left there because of some horrible experiences. They said a ghost used to haunt them during the night. Sometimes they even saw the ghost. They said it was a woman with a baby in her arms.

At other times they heard strange sounds " Was the woman singing to her baby or was the baby crying". They didn't know, "from now on".

I alway told myself to never walk to that house a gain.

Street Food In Cambodia

In cambodia have alot of places that sell foods on the street such as road go to lucky supermarket on sihanouk boulevard. And they sell it outside the super market.Then you will see a seller sell chicken grill on the road such as chickens, porks and beefs. When you ride cross it you will smell and taste delicious the barbecuing flesh.And some places didn't sell this they sell the meat that inside the chicken such as heads,feets,hearts and liver.Beside meat they sell insect such as crickets,silkworms etc... After this i want to tell you about the natural fruits in cambodia that can make you beauty and good health. You can buy it at another places in cambodia and i want to show you only the road that near the garden at Naga World. They sell it by pushing vehicle which have alot of fruits on it.

Ghost on The Tree

Last week me and my friend was slept in one hotel that near the thick jungle which is the places that Pol pot took people to killed here. But I dont know about this places clearly so I slept here and ate lunch in here too. When I ate already me and my friend got out from this hotel to took fresh air from the jungle. While we walked inside the jungle , we heard one noise that came from one big tree said " Please help me Please help me". I heard like that i decided to walked into this tree then i didn't heard and saw anything. Then i turned back and had 1 long hand hit me. When i looked on the tree i saw her hair is long , her head is turned around her neck. I saw like that I ran quickly to the hotel and sat in the sofa which in the hotel. Then the boss came and ask me what happen? And i told him what that i saw after that he told me .It is the places that alot of ghost died here by pol pot killed them. So I sweared i stop went here forever.

Cambodia Water Festival

Cambodia Water Festival is celebrate for 3 days. In this year 2010 the water festival is celebrate on 20,21and 22. Before the water festival people that is the member of boat racing come to phnom penh to get ready for racing.The Water Festival is coming foreign tourists and peasants from various provinces gather in the capital to celebrate the Water Festival.And why did they want to celebrate it? Because they want to review Khmer king that always does the battle with enemies by sailing.The Water Festival is also includes 3 other ceremonies it is: illuminated float( loy prortip), Moon salutation ( sompaes preah kae) and eating of pestle new special rice with banana or coconut juice(ork ombok).Each boat is manned 30 to 40 men or women. During the night time at about 7 o'clock the river was lit by illuminate boats which is float slowly and smoothly on the water surface . And they burn the firework for make this ceremony more and more happy and beautiful.

Desserts in Cambodia

In each Countries always have dessert food or fruit for their Country . But because of Cambodia have a lot of desserts such as Chek ktis , Baidomneub sangkya , Borbor sondekeav , Banhchernerk , Jahouy sap , Nom bot , Nom kom , Nom kor , Oun somchek , Sangkya larpov , Treap bay and something more else . Method to make them or ingredient in each dessert are different . And some dessert are very famous in Cambodia because some are very Delicious and easy to make .

Cambodian always do all these desserts when they have a married have to make to live in a new house or have some guest come to visit in their house . So they must make some food and desserts for receive them . Cambodian always do different desserts in each time . Sometime they make Borbor sondekeav or Baidomneub sangkya and usually they make Songkya larpov or Chek ktis because It's use a little of time and Chek ktis and Songkya larpov are the most famous desserts in Cambodia . Now we're going to tell all of you about how to make Chek ktis and Sangkya larpov . And the first we must tell about ingredient and method to make Chek ktis second is Sangkya larpov .

+ Ingredient of Chek ktis is :

- Coconut cream

- Sugar

- Salt ( don't make it become tasteless )

- Sago

- Bananas .

+ Method to make Chek ktis :

First we must slice the bananas become small small and put to soak in water

then put a little of salt in it . Put sago to soak in water become swell then lift up out

of the water . And then put the tip of coconut cream in to the pot and put sago and

the slice of bananas in to the pot , too . Then take to cook become split . If sago and

slice of bananas are cooked just put a little of salt and sugar in it and taste If It's

sweet enough just put the trunk of coconut cream in to that pot . It's already to

make Chek ktis and we can eat with happy , too .

+ Ingredient of Sangkya larpov is :
- Pumpkin

- Coconut cream

- Sugar

- Egg

- Coconut

- Salt ( don't make it become tasteless ) .

+ Method to make Sangkya larpov :

First we must take the pumpkin to clean by picking to take the seed out and clean

it become neat and put it at one place . Then take the egg and beat it but take only

red egg put to mix with the trunk of coconut cream and put a little of salt and

sugar . Then stir it become entire and taste If It's enough just dip it in to the

pumpkin that we picking to take the seed out . Then take it to steam in the pot . 20

minute later just cooked . Then we can eat this dessert with happy .

All of desserts in Cambodia always nice and good . So If anyone wanted to eat desserts of Cambodia we would try to make that desserts follows the describe above !
